Roller Skating Guidelines
Important Notice for All Visitors
At SPIN PIN's rolling rink, safety is our top priority. Skating is a fun and exciting activity, but it also comes with risks. To ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone, we ask all visitors to follow these essential safety guidelines.
Skating Safety Guidelines
Skate in Control – A large number of injuries happen due to loss of control. Always be mindful of your speed and movements.
Beginners should start on the mini rink or join a learn-to-skate session before moving to the main area.
Always skate in the designated direction (usually counterclockwise) and avoid cutting across the rink.
If you’re still learning, stay near the outer barrier for extra support.
When exiting the rink, do so gradually and avoid skating in front of others.
No sudden stops or sharp changes in direction—this helps prevent collisions.
Never climb over the rink barriers. Use the designated openings to enter or exit.
If you bring your own skates, make sure they are in good condition. If renting, let our team know if you need a different pair.
Safety gear is strongly recommended, especially for children and new skaters. Helmets, knee pads, and wrist guards can help prevent injuries.
Be considerate of others on the rink—stay aware of your surroundings and skate responsibly.
Speed skating and games are for experienced skaters only. Beginners should stick to general sessions.
Food and drinks must stay in the cafeteria—no exceptions.
Before letting children skate, ensure they have the coordination and strength needed to participate safely.
These guidelines help keep everyone safe, but personal responsibility plays a big role. Parents, please supervise young skaters at all times. If you have any concerns or need assistance, feel free to ask our staff. We’re here to help make your visit safe and enjoyable!
